Sergio Baietta is superbly versatile pianist and conductor awarded in more than fifteen national and international competitions.
Born in Verona and Graduated under Maestro Vittorio Bresciani, he regularly performs at major concert venues in Verona, Venice, Florence, Viareggio, Vicenza, Turin, Brescia, Gorizia, and Rome; and abroad with numerous prestigious orchestras and concert halls in Germany, Spain, Switzerland,Russia, Finland, and Hawaii. He debuted in Germany with notable acclaim, performing a series of concerts featuring Liszt in Furstensaal, the Liszt Museum, the Palais-Saal of Weimar, and Leipzig.
He regularly accompanies great singers such as Alida Ferrarini, Stefania Bonfadelli, Omar Kamata, J.Calleja, Tatyana Lisnic and numerous others.
Recently, his performance using 2 pianos for one of the hardest repertoire of Chopin was introduced on “Classic FM”, and his unusual talent gathered larger attention.
Since 2015 he has also been active as the conductor of a fantastic and passionate Veronese chamber orchestra, “Orchestra Machiavelli.” In October 2017, he and the Orchestra Machiavelli collaborated with the world famous clarinetist, Richard Stoltzman, and marimbist Mika Stolzman, performing Copland's clarinet concerto and premiering Chick Corea's piano concerto No.1 in Italy with great success.
